Tomb Raider fans are officially getting completely free DLC for the next game in the beloved franchise.
Gamers can claim a free piece of DLC for the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis well ahead of the game’s release. Gamers who link their Amazon Games iD account to their PlayStation Network, Xbox account, or Steam ID will receive an exclusive Mediterranean Wetsuit Outfit (as seen below) that will be available for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis as soon as the game arrives.
The official game description for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis from Amazon Games reads, “Whether you’re a veteran raider or new to Lara’s world, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis delivers jaw-dropping visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5, modern game design, and new surprises, while honoring the spirit and atmosphere of Lara Croft’s debut adventure.”
While another remake or retelling of the original Tomb Raider story may have been teased in the original, unpatched ending for 2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis wasn’t officially announced until The Game Awards 2025. And, as exciting as the announcement of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was, it wasn’t the only new franchise title to be revealed.
Tomb Raider: Underworld was released as the third and seemingly final entry in the Legend Saga that began with Tomb Raider: Legend in 2001. Tomb Raider: Underworld saw Lara Croft race against both time and her rival, Amanda Evert, and marked the proper debut of Lara’s malevolent Doppelgänger, who herself was created by Evert and the villainous Jacqueline Natla.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is slated for release some time later this year.
