Alongside the ongoing series and Journeys, Top Cow published a steady stream of one-shot issues and special publications throughout their tenure with the Tomb Raider licence. These eleven standalone comics served a variety of functions: some were introductory jumping-on-point issues designed to pull in new readers; others were anniversary specials, prestige-format publications, or tie-ins to wider Top Cow universe events.
The one-shots frequently attracted higher-profile creative talent than the monthly series — artists who could commit to a single issue but not an ongoing run contributed some of the most visually striking Tomb Raider comics of the era. Several issues were formatted as prestige editions with higher production values: thicker paper stock, fully painted covers, and extended page counts.
Notable entries include the Scarface crossover issue, the Witchblade/Tomb Raider special, and standalone stories set in locations the regular series never visited. As individual publications rather than chapters in an ongoing narrative, they tend to be more accessible entry points for readers unfamiliar with the Top Cow continuity.
Condition and print runs vary considerably across the eleven issues, making some of them moderately difficult to find in back-issue collections today.
