Announced in 2025, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is the next major entry in the Tomb Raider franchise, developed by Crystal Dynamics and co-published by Amazon Games. It marks the first Tomb Raider game to come under the Amazon Games publishing umbrella following their expanded partnership with Crystal Dynamics.

The title draws directly on one of the franchise’s most enduring mythologies. Atlantis featured at the heart of the original 1996 Tomb Raider, where Jacqueline Natla, one of three rulers of the ancient civilisation, sought to use the Scion to trigger a second evolution and reshape humanity. Though Natla was defeated and her Atlantean pyramid destroyed, the legacy of that ancient world and the forces it set in motion remain unresolved threads in the wider lore.

Details regarding the story, setting, and gameplay systems have not yet been fully revealed. What has been confirmed is that the game is currently in active development and is intended as a full mainline entry in the series.
