Story
Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation Remastered is part of the Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered collection by Aspyr Media. This remaster brings the 1999 classic to modern platforms with fully rebuilt visuals, while remaining completely faithful to the original’s level design, gameplay, and secrets.
The Last Revelation sends Lara on her most Egypt-focused adventure yet. Opening with a young Lara Croft exploring the temple of Angkor Wat with her mentor Werner Von Croy, the story then leaps to the present day, where an older Lara inadvertently releases the ancient Egyptian god Set. What follows is a race across 35 interconnected levels set almost entirely within Egyptian tombs and ruins, as Lara attempts to undo the chaos she has unleashed.
The remaster features the signature visual toggle found in the I–III collection, allowing players to switch between the rebuilt graphics and the original 1999 visuals at any time. Modern control options are available alongside the classic tank controls.
